You'd think with summer here I'd have more time to be working on submissions and such, but it's been completely the opposite this year. Actually, I haven't had a proper free summer ever since I started college. Up until just before it started, I thought this would be my first free summer, but I suddenly got really serious about taking up Japanese again so I ended up enrolling in classes for yet another summer.

Finished the first semester a couple of weeks ago and it has just been intense. Since it's a 5-credit class condensed into 6 weeks, we have it 3 hours a day and do approximately 3 and a half regular school days worth of material and homework in 1 day. It's been really time-consuming and stressful, but also really rewarding at the same time. I was amazed at how much I learned in 6 weeks by pushing myself to the limit. It's a great feeling to look back realize how much you've actually learned. Right now, I just finished the 2nd week of the Summer B and it's even harder! It's cool being able to watch Japanese movies and picking up on some vocabulary or sentence structure I studied in class.

Anyway, this is why I haven't been doing much in terms of updating my site, making games (or playing them for that matter), 3D modeling and improving my art in general. I have a bunch of cool ideas that I wanted to get through this summer, but I guess it'll just have to wait a bit longer...
